I can't see any pictures. Go ahead and do Subframe connectors. It is well worth it. The car will handle much better.

i got the greg welds finally and polished them up nicely. i really like the way they look. they dont look funky in person, but on the internet they always seem to look retarded. i cant wait to get the stance right and get it running!!! next month she will be running again!

the more you see the qtr panel the worse it looks! hopefully that will also be fixed befor Mustang Week

played with engine bay colors... this is the color im going with.

sanding... gah it takes forever!

What kind of lift is that in your garage? I need one like that!

The car looks great by the way, reminds me of my old 91 notch.

one more thing i dont know how people feel on this forum about drag style tire set ups but i have run the wide rear and skinny front on the street with my 67 and it sucks bad. i would lean to some more meat on the front. IMO

thanks man! your car was one of the cars that inspired me to try to make this car decent, but itll never be as clean as yours was!
the lift is a Bend-Pak scissor lift. personally, i dont like it too much bc you cant take out many things under the car, but it serves my purpose pretty well and they are pretty cheap!

from what i have experienced the skinnies do much better than the 17s. my dad has some street lites and they make all his cars handle 10x better. but, i will prolly run the 17s 90% of the time. they both give the car 2 complete different attitudes though!

^thanks!

snow day!!! so i got to work on the car all day.
i got my first shipment of parts from latemodel resto today...

got my rails switched over... im gonna be runnin the stock injectors for a while. but i got a fuel pressure regulator

cracked open the motor. still waiting for my cam to arrive

finished sanding and primed the engine bay. i was gonna smooth the bay but i just want to get it on the road now.

my throttle body looks soo sexy!

i installed a 255lph pump in my new tank today and got all the other stuff transfered over

painted one of my VCs silver. not sure what look i like best. opinions????

and, as yall have prolly guessed, im not doing a 331. it just seems really unneccesary to spend 2500 just for 30hp or so.

How do you figure a 331 would cost 2500, and only yield 30 more HP.
And a 347 kit is the same price as a 331 kit.

BTW i bought my 347 long block with AFR heads for 1500.

A stroker motor is worth it, in my opinion. Keep up the good work!

I do like the silver valve covers, I must say. But they will get dirty, quick. Just a reminder.

to do a stroker right the way i would want it, it would end up costing 2500. and i would still be well under 400rwhp. i may get 40 more hp, but still not worth it. and id want a fordstrokers motor. i dont trust myself to build one. so, yea it would end up costing me out the ass. you got a deal in yours. i have been searching corral but didnt find any good deal.

on another note, my motor has been rebuilt before!!! the shell only has 80k on it, and the rednecks that used to have the car told me the motor had 40k on it, maybe they told me the truth! and the motor has aftermarket pistons it looks like!
