(?1)If you bolted a X-pipe to stock shorties vs. A h-pipe to stockers????
(2) is flowmaster american thunder louder o then mac flowpaths catback? or vice versa, pretty much if you had to pick to match up with a x-pipe would it be flowmaster or MACs?
i heard a 5.0 cougar stock with long tubes with x-pipe with no cat-back(project car) and it was so much quieter then my 5.0 with stock shorties and h-pipe.
my questions are arising from new research and hearing cars in person; so im still trying to buy a catback, i thought i wanted magnafows, but they were to quite! then i thought i wantd LM's but i think they are more noise,which is good but the tone is just obnoxious. im going for decibals but want to have a respectable note of exhaust. i don't mind loud, but it needs harmony.
so now im thinking some mac shorties. x-pipe and mac flowpaths or american thunders. but everyone keeps telling me to stay away from chambers with an X-pipe
i like the gurgle mean growl that is easily attainable form the 5.0s, kinda like my adored 4.6( i know i know, you never can have a 5.0 sound like a 4.6!!!!!!) but n-ewyas help me out
