SOMETHING WRONG?

My friend has a 94 gt with exhaust and 4:10 as of late. Now ive ridden in it before and after and they gears didn't seem to give it all that much more snap? I would believe that his car would be quicker than mine but it doesn't feel it. Now I don't know a lot about 5.0's but shouldn't it be quicker than a 97 gt with exhaust and tune? AND ON TOP MINE IS AN AUTO

no you guys should be about even, im sure you both dyno close to the same numbers...probably 205-220hp...just because its a 5.0 doesn't mean its automatically faster than your car, they came from the factory with the same hp ratings...

i thought after he got the 4:10's it would be quicker than mine seeing as how his is a 5 speed and mines an auto with stock gears.

i had a 94 gt and the 4.10 gears really woke it up

The 94 has a much better torque curve than the 96-98 cars. They should still be similar in speed though with maybe a slight edge to the 5.0
