Soooo...broke a few bones!

oh gah i know what you mean about swelling into your cast. i had toe surgery on both my pinky toes at the same time about 5 years back. i didn't have casts on, but i had some firm wrap stuff wrapping up both my feet. when the meds wore off, BOTH of my feet felt like they were about to blow up. the swelling hurt sooo bad. good luck with the recovery man.

good luck looks real painful i had a bit of bad luck myself playing softball with some co-workers and routine play in centerfield .ball goes over my head went running after it only to tear my achilles tendon.good luck with the recovery

Well... You shouldn't drive. So, I'll take care of your car for the next 4-6 weeks  :D

Worth a shot right? Hopefully it will heal on it's own, good lucky, hope it heals soon. :nice:

Damn,

That flat out sux. At least your employer is taking care of everything. That is not the case with most employers nowadays.

I destroyed my left knee 4 years ago at work. I mean ripped nerves, arteries, muscles, ruptured 3 major ligaments. Not fun and painful as hell. Fortunately the company that I worked for really took care of me. I was out of work for 2 1/2 months and never ended up on WC pay. I got a 40 hour check each week even though I wasn't working. I got REALLY lucky.

Good luck on the recovery and make sure that wrist isn't messed up. That can create a whole host of problems on down the road.

dude your arm looks like a short shifter lmao

Yea, it happens.

hitting the ground straight-armed with equivalent velocity of being in a car accident would probably take out anybody though. I guess I can be glad I didn't land on my neck at least.

i didnt put it out to stop myself - i'm not that stupid. i was flipped forward and my arms flailed outward due to the speed, and it was too late to do anything once i saw for a split second that i was gonna hit.

i actually had more plans this month than most of my summer, haha. i just work a lot more in the summer. Both jobs are on the shelves for a couple weeks at least now, plus my extra-curricular activities. Gonna get thru a few DVDs I've been meaning to see at least ;)
