Which would make a bigger improvement? I'm thinking about doing the fox body spring thing or get MM full-length SFCs. I can't do both at the same time right now. What all is involved when I'm cutting/changing springs? I hope this is something I can do by myself.

As I tend to go with function over appearance... I'd select the SFC.

I'm acutally getting the fox springs in hopes of better weight transfer. The lowered ride height is just an added bonus. So with that said, which one should I get first?

are fox springs progressive or linear, I dont think progressive springs should be cut, and you might want to do you shocks/struts and cc plates at the same time as springs(if your car is an 04 you can probably use your existing shocks b/c theyre new). Go with the subframes since its cheaper and doesnt require spending extra cash.

How much $$$ are you getting to spend? If you're doing it right, springs/shocks are a lot more than SFC's. I vote SFC's. I felt a noticeable difference.

The reason I wouldn't do springs for a while is that I don't see the straight line performance really suffering from the current springs.

Now put in some cut up fox body springs, and shave a tenth off your qtr mile time...by gaining that tenth you are sacrificing overall handling characteristics.

For that reason, wait on the springs- go with the SFC.
