Yeah, I'm gonna have to get raped and buy it from a dealer.
It's real tough to get a loan otherwise.
My CU will give me a great interest rate but I have to buy it from a franchised dealer.
I may end up trading in our Exploder at the same time. I'm having a real hard time selling that thing. It's like they are for sale on every street corner. It IS the last year of the 5.0 but with todays gas prices, that is more of a negative then anything :(
sonic blue 04 L, 25,000 OBO

if only you could buy from a private party

Yeah, they are. Be sure to get a wife fax report before buying one!
i will definetly keep that in mind. i aslo hear that you cant just go out and upgrade models..that there is no way to trade in your old wife for a newer model with more features..is this true? :(

There's an 04 L in the UT this morning at Perry Ford in Poway (13k miles) for $28,005

I will check that out.

And, the wife is as excited as I am about the L.
I can get what ever I want really, 03 Cobra, Corvette, what ever.
This plan started with me buying HER a BMW remember.
I just promised her I would get rid of the Stang first.

I think I've wanted a Lightning for about 3 or 4 years now and every L owner I talk to just raves about owning one.
I am going to miss the Vert though :(

Bill,

Going back to selling your car across the country. Remember, I had a guy from New Jersey buy my Chevelle not too long ago without seeing the car. I faxed him a letter with a copy of my ID stating that the car is being sold as is and will be available for pick up by a shipping company as soon as funds are cleared in my account. Once the fund was cleared I called the guy for him to schedule pick up of the car.

Good luck with the deal and let me know if you need any help picking up your new L.
