Street Strip Project Need Help!

K...This is my plan. I am just about finished collecting all the parts to do an engine rebuild and some upgrades on the chassis. I am going for a more race theme on the car. I have a couple of questions before I start though. Here goes.

1.) Should I have the engine and rear axle in when I do rollcage, subframes, and torque boxes?

2.) What order: Cage, subframes, boxes?

When I did my cage and chassis stiffening. I just took all three that u describe in 2) and did it all at once. The guy who put my cage in tied the cage into the subframe connectors.

To answer 1) no you dont need the engine. The guy who installed my cage does it for a living and I only needed the car rolling. The person you have do the car should level the car out so the cage goes in straight as can be expected.

I don't think it will matter with the boxes but with the subframes and roll cage I think the car's chassis should at least be on it's suspension. I agree with the previous post.
