Hey guys I been searching but it seems it only for 4.6 GT's and later Cobras. I want opinions on the 99 Cobra for a supercharger what would be the best for it. I dont plan on doing internals but if I have to I will. I can't find much for internal upgrades for the 99 Cobra. This application will be for weekends street use with occasionally track time so Please reccomend me something along thoes lines and also I love the wine of the charger too !

There are three that I know of- ATI Procharger, Vortech, and Kenne Bell. Check out their websites and it will tell you what you can do with a perfectly stock block.

I'm saving for a KB myself (around $7k :() but it should be worth it :D

Don't forget Paxton. The Novi is a kick ass blower. The Novi2k will put out 12#'s minumum with the stock pulley on a 99/01 Cobra. So the stock Cobra internals will definately be the concern. But if you rebuild, the Novi2k will make some serious power. 18-20#'s is very easy attainable with this blower.

If you aren't going forged it would be good insurance to pony up for a kit with an intercooler, as well as a dyno tuned chip. I think all the procharger kits have intercoolers, Paxton and Vortech are optional. Not sure if the intercooler comes standard with the KB, but the roots blowers are supposed to build power more quickly than the centrifugals. They will give you one helluva holeshot if your halfshafts are up to the task.

... and twinscrews (like the Kenne Bell) build full boost immediately.:D

There are two basic kits for the 99 cobra that they sell- one with an intercooler and one without. They advertise that by adding the intercooler you can safely run 3 pounds more boost on stock internals.

Also, I just remembered Whipple:nice:
