:D
:whine: I didn't say there wasn't any, just very little.
since there's really very little "build worthy" going on
Yours does count since you are quiet literally building two t-top cars, outside of that it's just people with rattle can paint jobs and new head/tail lights. Hopefully Chuckman can get some updates going soon too. I love me a smooth & tucked engine bay :fap:

Collin spotted this but I thought some others might be interested to see my old cobra finished up. I miss the car for sure, it was the single nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Pretty happy with what I've got going now but it's a little bittersweet to see it done.
I like most of what he did with it, or the shop that built it I guess.

Started on the fuel system tonight. Removed all the summit/Jegs generic fittings and replaced them all with new parts from Fragola (except the Y block pictured). Night and day difference between the fittings in terms of quality and ease of installation.

Magnafuel 4303 fuel pump that I picked up last week.

I got the regulator mounted to the rail and got everything forward of the firewall cut and installed. Will mount the pump and reinstall the fuel tank tomorrow more than likely.

Also hacked at the MS harness a bit and moved the coil pack brackets off the intake. I picked up 36" extension harnesses from Painless so I can extend them out in the wheel wells. You can see the colored wiring in the top corners of the picture. Need to find somewhere that sells something similar whatever loom/wrap the harness is wrapped in.

Having a somewhat hard time finding materials to build the downpipes which is frustrating. Will be building them out of 16ga mild steel. Everything I'm finding is aluminized which id prefer not to use. I've heard that id have to grind off the coating or it isn't very TIG friendly. Not sure there. Need to find a couple tight 180* radius bends as well as a couple L shaped 90*s.

I ordered the stock length outlaw lower valance which should be here in 3 weeks give or take.
I liked the idea of the cobra extensions but for nearly no extra cost I think the fender exit exhaust will look better and it eliminates the fog light holes. Hopefully it looks as good as I'm picturing it

Ok,....if you're gonna insist showing me pictures of your shiny engine in that perfectly smoothed engine bay, You're gonna have to turn off the lazyometer and remove the fugly that is sticking all out of the firewall.
What
the
hell?

Summit has every form of bend you'll need in different bend radiuses from several suppliers.

They've got about 2 bends that aren't stainless or aluminized.
Are you referring to the heater core lines? I tell myself I'll hook the heatercore back up some day which i probably never will. But really I just don't like the open holes it leaves in the firewall and I'm not sure I've seen a block off plate that's more than a piece of aluminum riveted to the firewall.

I'd remove it if I could find a nice solution
