Just build it out of exhaust tubing (The upper rad hose). If you are concerned w/ rust because of the straight water that you'll probably run in the engine, you can build it out of SS,..(I'm using anti-freeze, so mines made out of mild steel) then use the appropriate silicone couplers and t bolt clampidoo's to hold it to each end.Digging this up for an update.

I came up with a coldside I was happy with.
Definitely getting my fair share of aluminum practice and slowly learning some of the do's and dont's. Long, long way to go but I'm at least to the point of not being embarrassed for people to see it. That's gotta count for something.
Mounted the BOVs a lot lower this time.
You may notice a section of my upper rad hose is a piece of moly tubing, I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do here. I'd like to build hard line for the majority of the upper hose but I'm not sure the right route to go just yet.
Also built a mount for my expansion tank so it can hang in the drivers side area. Not fancy, but effective.
Still learning the right way to plumb a laid down setup like this.
Need to build rad hoses, find a throttle cable and run a line to the new map sensor and I can try firing this pile up again.

Couple weeks ago a bird got in my shop andall over my car.
I went out around the side of the building to see where it had gotten in at and saw a 4-5ft snake coming in through the opening in the soffit.
Cut all the trees down on that side of th shop but could never find the snake.
Fast forward to Sunday and I came across this one in my shop
Maybe 2ft long, average for this area. I know they're "harmless" and I don't enjoy killing them but my wife is petrified of them and I always worry about my small dogs getting tangled up with one so when I see them, I get rid of them (they don't make me feel warm and fuzzy either).
So Monday the dogs are out in the yard, wife is laying out and I'm out in the garage messing with the car. I walked to the house to get something and I see a snake head sticking out of the stairs on the deck. I could tell it was the big one from my garage. It got spooked and backed under the deck.
Commence wife's panic attack and me pacing through the yard with a snow shovel while the neighbors watched with concerned faces.
No dice.
Wife comes home from work yesterday and calls me to say there's a snake in the yard.
It's under the tree next to where she parked and is just staring at her (menacingly I'll add)
A few strategic ninja moves later and
The lump you see is a whole bird.
Hopefully the one who crapped on my car

If I had to listen to my wife panick about this snake much longer I was going to take my own head offI have a 5ft black snake around the outside of my house....his names " Lou ". He's safe here. A copperhead or cotton mouth would be a different story.

One of the (few) benefits of the great white north, No poisonous sh*t. Wolves and bears sure, but they are usually about as live and let live as I am so we respect each others turf so to speak. You've already seen how social wild animals can be...Yeah, I'm not cut out for life down there lol.
Snakes and big ass spiders have been awful this year though. Gonna start carving notches in my snake shovel
More of a man than I. I picked this one up once it was dead and even that was a bit unsettling.When I was a kid, I must have had dozens of garter snakes as pets. Id catch em, keep em a few weeks and let them go. Used to catch a few big ones here and there...3 feet or so? Nowadays I catch them, show them off to the kids, let them handle them, and release in the woods away from the house. Wife is off in the corner having fits
I have run across an eastern rattlesnake once. That one I backed off of.
