Did some test fitting today to see if I need a spacer. Theres a few centimeters from the rim and caliper, to you guys think i should get a spacer? I have about 12 bucks, so next wed i get paid, ill get the lug nuts and a spacer if i need it and i can put them on with the slicks and give it a test drive. Tell me what you guys think.

My car leaving the line, hehe not really.

Personally I think that it will be fine. If it was really close like you couldn't barely slip a sheet of paper between the caliper and the rim then I would get some spacers but otherwise I would leave it as is.

The car is gonna look nice with the skinnies up front. Hope to see it out at the track soon.:nice:

thanks man, hopfully ill make it out there sometime in the next week, ill have the lug nuts wed. or thurs. just gotta find a wed. or fri. off work after that.

There is like 2 or 3 centimeters so I think ill be fine without the spacer.

Thanks guys.

looks good.......i just put skinnies on the front of mine. Before now, I have never driven a stang with skinnies on it.........I got about two blocks away and decided that I won't be using mine for anything other than the strip. I love the way they look on mustangs, but there is no way I can put up with that craziness for any length of time. I have Futura metric radials on mine, maybe that has something to do with it.

BTW,the tire was air up all the way before driving

Yea ive heard a few people running them daily, but mine are only for the strip. I really cant wait to launch it and see if i feel a difference and how much more it lifts up.

Lol, i drove my car on 3 1/2 in skinnys for 8 years. Granted that was my first car, and I really didnt know any better. I guess once you get used to driving a car on a real tire tho it gets harder.. Your car looks good bro...

Yea its what your used to, ive done alot of things to my car people say they would never do and i dont even notice it, like the sway bar, I probably wouldnt mind driving them everyday, but the skinnies go on with the slicks and i dont want to drive my slicks everyday, i dont mind it but id like to save the tread for the track, so the cobra r's will go on when im driving around, thanks for the compliments.

It's not going to lift anymore than it did before since wheels are unsprung weight. I wanna see that thing with all four welds on it! Get us pics!

ah true, what kind of weight stuff can i do the will lift the car up more? a/c is coming out soon, sway bar is gone, will shocks and struts help for better weight transfer? Im looking for some simple stuff that will make me jump out of the hole.
