Nice work man. Just curious what kind of sound system are you going to top it off with? Example type and size of subs, amps, highs and sub box planned? Also do you still plan on adding the turbo?

I plan on getting a nice system down the road. Something like an eclipse head unit with nice component speakers and a small custom molded sub enclosure with a 10 inch or so sub to go in the back right corner of the hatch. I don't think this thing is going to get a turbo anymore, with the engine bay being how it is it may be tough to fit a turbo in there, so it will probably get a kenne bell or some kind of centrifugal blower down the road. Not for a while tho.

looks siick bro. im gonna have to keep stoppin by to see how its coming along. pictures dont do justice for this car. as for the system, i wouldnt do an eclipse headunit, get a nice pioneer there way better quality in sound an the way there actually made. i'd recommend some polk components, love mine an i still need a cap an a decent amp to push them to there potential. just my .02

I jambed out the doors and hatch yesterday. They are looking pretty good. The panels are finally going on the car for GOOD!

Its Volkwagon/Audi Reflex silver. It is the brightest silver I could find. I love the color, that has been the color I've wanted since I thought the two tone idea back in college like 5 years ago haha.

Wow, that thing looks amazing. I can't wait to see the paint on the outside panels. The inside looks amazing. So did you put pearl in the clear then? Because initially it looks black.

I dont have a set date. I don't have the money for the paint yet so I'm either going to pay my boss off for the paint or get a credit card to buy the paint and weather stripping. lol I'm not gonna drive it jambed out. I did the whole primer thing for toooo long with the 89. I wanna drive a car that people are actually going to like to see for once haha


Thats just a Honda color, its called Nighthawk black. There is blue and violet pearl in the color but I had my paint guy swap out the violet pearl with more blue pearl. I really like it, should look awesome on the panels in the sun.

hahaha def! I've been trying to spend some time away from the car to catch up on the social life haha. But I'm definatly getting solid progress done on her on a weekly basis.

I do restorations for a living and this is my little restoration project for myself. I've been doing body work for about 5 years now. Im def game for a meet, all my buddies have stangs so were always up for cruising around!
