About a half an hour ago, I was at the Dairy Queen getting some ice cream. As I started to walk behind my car a kid about 13 walks by me over to his mom and then does a double take of my car. "Whoah, you've got a Mustang GT!" said the kid. I said yup and how I liked it alot.

Right after I started it to leave, I could hear the same kid again, "Dad, that guy has a cool car."

Glad to see that not all of today's youth is blinded by neon, big wheels, and big wings. :flag:

Yea, but we have to look out for the adults... i was at a ice cream shop and theses two 40+ guys were behind me, a lambo drove by the guy was like look at that Ferrari. I don't know how people can mistake cars like that... if you dont know what it is just dont say anything ... a girl that works there owns a nice 94 - 95 mustang gt with exhaust bullit rims etc... im still trying to figure out which girl is the owner :D

I still get people of all ages checking out my car. Even people that dont know anything about cars appreciate it because it is black and " really shiny". When I tell them it is 10 years old they freak. Then there are those people that are car nuts and they appreciate it even more.

The whistling blower and supercharged decals help to turn heads as well.

I'm sure it does haha

I get the same reaction when I tell "non-mustang fanatics" that the car is 10 years old...I've had some people ask me if it's a brand new stang, and I have to break the news to them.... :nice:

There's a girl that works at one of the subway's here, and she drives a 96 GT (stock I think, never heard it run or anything), but it's always clean and everything. Still can't figure out which girl drives it though.

Lol, I've had like 30/40 year old men ask me if the stang was one of the new 05's. I just laugh and say "thankfully no".

my gf's mom thought my car was brand new, i still don't think she beleives me when i told her it was a 94.

and as for the young kids, i get tons of little guys pointing and stuff, or as i drive by they yell "nice car"

but i think the stripes are the reason i a lot of looks.

i love when either little kids or even people 30+ years older than me want me to light my tires up :p

puts the biggest grin on my face and definitly makes my day :D :nice:
Some dudes just the other day behind me at a light wanted me to light them up. There were too many cars around me though so i just gave it a nice run through first and second, causing a scene.

My friend thought my car was an 02. When I told him it was a 96 he was in awe. Tons of people think it's newer than it is. When I'm in the car, little kids usually are the ones who tell me to light them up. When I'm on the bike, they always try to get me to do wheelies.

More and more young kids are getting into ricers. I dont know very many young guys that actually like muscle cars :(

I am 18, and I have never been into the whole ricer thing, it is ghey. A lot of people have asked me if my car was an '04, and im like uhh no, try 10 years back, and they are all like damn!

yea, my best friend is also a v8 domestic fan, but we are 2 of maybe like 7 in my town that are around our age, he is more into the OHC motors in mustangs though, he had a 98 GT, wrecked it, and is now looking for a 97 cobra, but, his dad has some nice stuff, despite it being chevys, he has a 92 454 SS, a 99 Vette that has had some work done and dynos 450 RWHP!

I wish more kids my age were into muscle cars.Maby not tho let them have their rice rockets. Im 16 and i have myu stang and the thot never crossed my mind for buying a rice burner lol. Its horrible at my school most of the kids make fun of/tell me my car sucks. Those are the kids with civics and stuff.

Well a lot of my dad's biker buddies are always looking at my car. One said a couple of weeks ago at sonic "what exhaust you got its almost as loud as my bike". Well When I was leaving I had 30+ bikers yelling at me to romp on it. Well I looked back to see my dad who was smiling that was untill he saw his son sideways through 1st and 2nd and I looked back in the mirror they were still staring when I churped 3rd. Its just great to see people of any age that appreciate these cars. I know I will for a long time cause my snake will be with me until death do us part.

I just had an older guy (40 or so) in a tow truck pull up next to me at a light and start raving about my car. That sounds nice! I'll take it! Then he was comlimenting it and stuff. Well he pulled up at the next red light (we had been driving down the main road for a bit) and he said, that motor sounds REAL nice! Beautiful car, I bet it gets the ladies huh? lol, and my dad was with me, he said, it'd better not! The guy asked if I was married, I said no, and he was like, man that's a perfect bachelor's car. lol He was a nice guy. I love when people pull up to me at red lights and are admiring my car and giving me compliments.
