I don’t have much experience with others except stock and the tfs #1 but yes I was and am still very impressed the cam and with the power/driveability difference in changing out those 3 parts with arguably better parts… sure work better in my case

Love the follow up with the time gap. Life gets in the way but persistence pays off in the end. Good numbers!

How do you like the G-force trans? How different is it from the stock T5 in terms of shift feel and gear noise? Which clutch did you pair it with? That upgrade is on my list, it seems like a much easier and more cost effective swap than a T56.

So far so good but I haven’t even put 500 miles on the trans yet… it is tight but not at all hard to shift… it’s definitely louder in 2nd and 3rd but G Force tech said that was normal and should wear in a little… it doesn’t downshift easily it has to slow to appropriate speed to fall in gear on a downshift to 2nd (I’m hoping that will get better with wear). It basically feels like shifting a t5 so far honestly… I’ve shifted fast but not hard yet…
I put a Ram Powergrip single disc… it’s pretty heavy…. Again no regrets so far, and I think I’ll like it more when I can put some power to it

I can't find anyone who's running this cam to tell me how it is for a street car.

Does any one have this cam or any experience with it??

Sorry 2000xp8, don't jump on me for continuing to talk about this (haha). But I am going with rpm II intake and 80mm mass air. I'll probably leave the 65mm tb for now though.

The tfs track max 51802002 wth ths tw 185_38cc heads is awesome I went with the vic jr efi intake. My Tuner dialed my combo in excellent street manners and pulls hard from 2000- 6800rs, with 3.73 gears ad fti 2800 stall.the pi heads choked past 5600rs!!!

Not going to pick up 50 rwhp with just a cam change. Not at the level that you are at. I honestly would look towards a custom can. Something tailored exactly to your combo and aspirations.

I have that cam installed in my 2000 mustang gt with tfs t185 38cc heads! Ihave the following supporting mods: fti 2800 stall, 4r70w jmod, 3.73 gears, 90mm sct ba2600. She runs great my tuner set it up with great throttle tip-in and street manners. IT DYNO'D AT 300 RWHP...she pulls hard with a wot from a stop peaked at 6200 rpms and stayed flat out to 6400 rs benfor the torque started bending down with the hp still climbing. Could ask for more from my 4.6 2v!!!

You do realize that you could not have that cam installed in your mod motor being that cam is for a pushrod motor, right?

Well... We're in the Windsor section.

This is why I lumped 94/95 with Fox. Except for some minor details, they're the same car. hehe

Doesn’t matter if the cam profile is the same or not. Two different motor platforms so they will not perform the same.
