Im not too mechanically knowledgeable, but i was wondering, what are the best upgrades other than a supercharger/procharger/turbo that nwill lead to top end power. I just bought my 2000 gt two days ago, and it came with k/n intake, and borla catback. I feel the low end power just blows away the top end on this car. Any suggestions.

Im adding these parts soon:

3 Core Radiator
3.73 Gears
Lt Headers
Mac Prochamber
Accufab Plenum and TB combo

will i notice a big difference when im done with these mods, or do i need to go a different route?

Well if your actually talking topend power you just shot yourself with the gears. The gears will give you way more low end but will destroy your top end. You will run out of gear way faster now. If you are talking feel the gears are the best decision. The will make the car pull harder without gaining you any HP. Best thing for topend is a cam and longtubes. Get a Stage 2 or 3 cam, say from VT. Great cam, lowend may suffer a little but topend the car will keep pulling.

Well without a blower/turbo/Nitrous. You wont have top end IMO

port and polished heads with new valves and springs, stage 3 cams, ported Bullit intake, full exhaust, and a tune.

The best top end improvement I felt when I was still N/A was my C&L plenum and u/d pulleys. I say both because I put them on at the same time, but my guess would be the improvement came from the plenum. It just felt like the engine could breath so much better above about 4000 or 4500 RPM. I didn't do the T/B before the supercharger, but I'm guessing it will improve that feeling even more.

I went with mid-length headers instead of long tubes. I felt a small increase throughout the power band, but nothing huge.

Also never did cams.
