yeah a .000 is a perfect R/T at our track, I havent been in awhile so I was kinda sleeping at the tree. I let my bro-in-law drive it before the gears an he got alot better times than me so maybe i just need to learn how to drive!

well now its looking like you need traction lol. cause trapping 79 now and running a tad slower. u got the power it just needs to go to the ground now.

For that MPH I dont think youre gonna get much faster than that. Sure you could try some slicks out and maybe pick up a tenth possbibly 2 if you could get that 60' to a 1.8. Everything looks good and I think its a damn good time for the amout of mods you have.

Didnt see this was before gears, well it looks like the gears helped pick up some speed .

my 1/8th during my beast 1/4 mile run so far was a 8.9 flat if im not mistaken - so i think it has about a tenth or two left in it

you need bigger tires to back up a gear like a 4.10 but in return your going to get more unsprung wieght wich in reutrn you will need more hp, 3.55 or 3.73 would have been a better choice for a mostly stock mustang

Ok I just got my gears installed a couple weeks ago, an finally got to take to the track to test it out. It was my first time out in awhile so I was kinda sleeping at the tree. I couldn't get any traction, I need to get a tuner an some slicks! I was dissapointed that I got exactly the same times after the gears tho, I was expecting to at least get in the 8's

Before:
R/T: .194
60: 2.037
330: 5.877
1/8: 9.082
MPH: 75.91

After:
R/T: .346
60: 2.069
330: 5.956
1/8: 9.082
MPH: 79.30

Thats close to what I was running before the gears...

If I dont drop a couple tenths atleast i'll be pissed cause its plenty faster now.

last year at sumerduck i ran an 8.8 at 80.5 with a 2.05 60'. that was on street tires. its my best run to date on motor. but my best 60' was a 1.945 i thought i was going to break into 8.7 territory but then once i grabbed second car what happens...wheels spin and rpms take off to redline lol ended up running a 9.0

but yea put those slicks on man and run her again. just becareful dont side step the clutch like was already said or that axle may go snap crackle pop

These were both my cars.

96 Cobra. BBK L/T, H pipe Catback, 4.10's ran 13.54@106MPH

97 Cobra. BBK L/T X pipe, catback, 3.73's ran 13.92@102MPH

4.10's are def better.
