I'm located just south of Baton Rouge, LA. I'm wondering if there are any other stangnet members from this area and if so where do you guys/gals go to have your cars tuned? I'm finding a vast lack of places to go and the only dyno in the area is at a GM oriented place. I'm gonna call them and ask if they deal with stangs. BTW the place i'm talking about is thunder racing in case anyone knows any info about them.

I talked superchargers with the guys there and they seemed pretty knowledgeable, if they can't help you with what you need, they probably know who can.

Also, if you are wondering where the hell that is, it's close the the Huey P. Long bridge in N.O.

I am from New Orleans and there is not much around here that deals with Mustangs. Most places only deal with GM such as Thunder Racing. I might be heading to T and J for a tune after I put my PI intake on. I need a tune badly because my cams are not letting my car idle. Actually Competition Motorsports left a card on my window when I was at dinner (Chevy's). I am not sure if they do tunes or not.

Well if I could get some cash together I'd start my own shop. All of these LS1 shops and they don;t even make the freakin car anymore.

I heard of a shop in Mobile but I've forgotten the name of it.

No they don't. I was there last week and they only tune GM. They told me I could have somebody from out of town come in and then do it, but they don't have anybody inhouse that does it.

There is a knowledgeable person in Slidell that knows mustangs about as much as the ford engineers. This guy is really good. His name is allan and his shop is A&R Racing. If you need contact information please let me know and I'll be happy to send your info to him. You can also utilize our dyno for final tunining.

There are two SCT dealers in Louisiana that we trained last year and I'm sure would do a good job: 454 Dyno in Metiere (504-454-3966), but I don't know their status after Katrina. The other dealer we trained was L&S Automotive in Baton Rouge (225-756-8488).

Are you refering to Alan Morse that owned A&M in Kenner years ago? I don't think A&M in Kenner is open. Did he relocate?

A new shop just opened up. They relocated from New Orleans.

Corr Performance Tuning

Ask for Jay

504 390 0518 or 504 339 1805.

They will be installing the funny gas this weekend and dynoing after to keep things safe.
