i put new wires, plugs gapped at .30, put the large vam back in, turned the boost up to what the guage is sayin 10 psi but i dunno its quick, then i went and raced a guy with a 2002-1 silverado 2wd thats lowered with full exaughst, "intake work", some kinda yada yada rearend, and the "chip". He runs 14.9's at the track and i beat him in the 1/4 mile by about almost a car length( 1/4 mile marked out on back road dont know my times) and all of this is with the clutch slippin a lil bit. I am very impressed with this car. Anyone have an idea of what i might have run???? i dunno just thought i would tell yall about my win and 50 bucks i got from him lol( he bet me and the 4 banger went to town on him lol) lata

1 car length equals 1 tenth...so 14.8 Of course, street racing is way different than at the track...you may run a 15.8 at the track.

Yeah its really hard to judge by that.
My lightning didn't usually lose 0-45mph because it will hook hard in all street conditions. Most vehicles won't do that.
It isn't that fast but will really make people think.

I dont think itll run a 15.8 stinger lol atleast i hope not. Im going this sunday to richmond dragway and imma see what she runs. Im still having problems with the boost pipes commin off of the turbo side( right where it comes outta the turbo) but i can run it hard maybe 3 times then i have to pop the hood and fix it b4 it comes completely off. Now i have the boost at about 13 lbs according to the guage, still dunno if its right im guessin it is because i had it at 15 in my old coupe and it was way slower but it prob has sumthin to do with the fmic. Oh yea kinda off subject and i know it was dumb but i got her up to about 120 the other night at about 3 in the mornin runnin down 895 ( long, straight, and flat interstate) with my buddy in his 04 grandam gt with the ram air and yadda yadda( i beat him to in the 1/4 mile) but anyways ill let yall know how the strip goes lata

well

i have run at the track many of times, ive red lighted once and i never sleep at the tree im still workin on the launch because i have the 3.73 open rear so its kinda hard to get her to hook up good. those r the times that my old car was runnin and this one is ALOT faster im willin to bet 100 bucks that she is somewhere in the 14'sive taken all of my buddies for rides in it( they race all the time at the strip) and everyone of them said mid to low 14's and my boy jason said high 13's if i drive it right but he was a lil drunk when i took him out lol i dont think itll hit 13's but im more than positive she'll hit a 14 sumthin. it all depends on the track conditions and yadda yadda yadda. i have noticed that at night when its cooler out side she runs 100 times better than durin the day but imma run her and see what i get
you should ride out 351 im sure you know where its at( right beind richmond international airport) sure would b nice to have another 4 banger out there with me lol lata
