Upgrade to auto?

I am looking at upgrading my auto instead of doing a T5 swap. For you guys with upgraded autos, what did you do? I was looking at Lentech Automatics, specifically the AODE/4R70W Street Cruiser. Any suggestions for stall and torque converter? I am going to put in a 347 soon and wondering if this tranny will hold up. It is rated at 400hp. Well I am not familiar with autos and need some help. I had a shop rebuild it with a shift kit and better internals (clutches - stronger and wider O/D band) then I bought an Edge Converter and had Andre build it for my combo.

There may be a guy pop in here and say how terrible Andre is, maybe he was to this one guy who gets all his friends to chime in. I don't know Andre from anyone and he's been SUPER nice to me. To each their own.

I would do business with him again in a heartbeat. I had an issue with one of the very first Street Edge converts they offered. He did everything to help me, lots of options and while the problem sucked, he couldn't have done much more to make me a happy customer.

Good luck with the 347. I should be getting my new 331 next week.

I had a lentech street terminator plus I was going to put in but ended up selling it. I was gonna have the converter done by ultimateconverter.com hands down!! You will hear nothing but good thigns about them on the boards. I would do a better version of the lentech if I were you.
