Went to the Dyno this afternoon...

thats 1 thing that gets me. your cobra and my vr4 are close to the same weight, run close to the same times at the same MPH....yet i highly doubt im even making 400 whp.

iirc (its been a while since i drove my cobra) the gearing is pretty close too. i think the cobras have slightly shorter gears.

Racing isn't just about HP, take a look at your torque curve and then look at a Cobra's... I have 450 ft lbs of torque right at the start and it only drops to 400 ft lbs when I am making my most power of 450 ish HP. That low end torque the Eaton gives us does wonders for launches and overall E.T.'s.

Just a thought, from the people at SVT...:D :flag:

Also, the one time I raced an electric car at PIR, it absolutely jumped me off the line. I ran him down later but electric motors equal instantaneous torque...

This was a Scat SFI approved Flex plate, all I was doing was goofing around on the street. I have a JW "The wheel" Flex plate on the way. Only takes about 2 hours to install on my garage floor.

Going to throw the big tune up in her huh? Hope to see ya there! You are going to love those MT drag radials. I have run several 1.60 60 ft times on my 235's. I'm scared of the 275's :D Maybe when I get some 10 inch rear wheels I might try some.

My 275`s are on 8" welds with 5.5" BS. I could go with 1" more to the outside, but anymore than that it would start to look like popo

holy cow, i made a joke on friday i think, didnt touch the comp all weekend, and now im gettin bashed! i didnt mean it as a d1ck-measuring contest at all, just messing around.
i apologize for opening my mouth.
