What is the most misused word or phrase in this forum?

Over used...the thread that begins with "last exhaust question", or "I know this has been asked before"..or any question that involves someone asking another person on the internet what their car will sound like with "X" mufflers.....Oh wait are we supposed to state overused statements or pet peves?...I can't remember.

Ok well off to do my breaks..anyone know what the breaks will sound like if I use corba rotors? Will 40 series mufflers drown out the sound of my motor? Do think if I race the Datona tubro down the street I will be teh win if I get a strut tower brace?

  :SNSign:

I don't know about misused, but for some people, this --> , is a comma. Learn it, love it, use them! Changing the subject mid sentence also kills me.. for example:

i love my car it rules if it wasnt for that damn surging idle problem and are carbon fiber hoods unpainted really rice because i want one but i dont want people to think im rice because if thats the case then i wont do it by the way how will dynomax race bullets sound on my 74 pinto with a 4 cyl and twin turbo and if i get 17 x 9's will they rub and what should the backspacing be and if my buddy runs a 17.9 in the quarter if i add a phenolic spacer do you think ill beat him?

Yes... nation wide standardized testing is a wonderful thing. lol

DUW, by far.

How many people still use 56k anyway? And seriously, when I still used it 4 years ago, and I knew there was gonna be a bunch of pics in a thread because they said "PICTURES" in big caps somewhere in the title, I clicked on it anway and waited for them to load. No need to warn me, or anyone else of the obvious, I always thought?

There is a very long thread in Tech right now with lots of that!

Most hateredded words or phrases: Turbonator and CAI kits

English time kids:

A LOT

alot is incorrect

or

To - I am going to tim's house for sushi
Too - I had too much sushi
Two - I purchased two turbonators today

:steps off soap box:

runon sentences are teh win.

i still use 56k cuz daddy's cheap for broadband.

and yea, i'd like to know if there are pictures in the thread, and more importantly, if said pictures are like 1024x768 and there's 15 of them

example: i got a new car today (or) check out my new ride

could be a description in text, could be a few cell phone pictures, or could be 16 in-depth 5.6 megapixel pictures. i'd like to know how much time it will take to read a thread and therefore whether i should waste my time to open it.

"I took a brake from fixing the breaks on my car"

The youthenism "ricer" is used too much, it's not a description for "import" as most people think.

Its origin did imply import motorcycles. Ricers, Rice Rockets, etc. That term was around before most ppl on this forum were born.

W00T and teh are the worst imo.

Do what I do - type your post in Microsoft Word & paste it into the little quick reply box. I am not a great typist, even after using computers on a daily basis for 27 years.
