What RPM do you laucn your drag radials at???

I have messed around with 2500-3500 and really cant seem to get my 60' times down to where i want them (low 1.8s). my current best is a 1.99. these are nitto DRs.... which are decent (about 600ish miles on them) and with a good burnout in the box.
Just wanted to see where you guys where launching at and what 60' times your netting.

I drop mine at about 4500 with 15psi and a nice second gear burnout till I feel them start to slow the engine down a little and dump it and get 1.7-1.8 all day

I used to drop around 2K but last time I could only do about 1800 max due to suspension issues. I'll hopefully find out tommorow where I can drop it now. It kills my times because the engine bogs when I launch low like that.

A good burnout is always nessasarry to get the tires cleaned off and all the water out of the grooves, especailly to get them nice an hot. I found 14-16psi seems to work best.

4000 rpms sliping the snot out of the clutch. Once you get a feel for it, you can turn an almost ruined launch into a 1.8 60'. My average is low 1.8's with a few dips into the 1.7's.
