What throtle body for supercharged 94? 75or70mm? Also what else can I get for my car?

Since im waiting for a clutch before the dyno tune I figured ill spend a few extra bucks to get my HP up for the dyno. The one thing I thought of was a TB but i dunnno what size I should get, 75 or 70? I have a cobra intake manifold but I do not know what size the opening it on it, maybe I can do a lil P&P to make it match. Also what can I do hp-wise to bring up the numbers alittle. NOTE : everying but h/c because im still undecided what I want to do with my engine.

Cobra's are about 70mm opening, so run that. You could port the inlet with a dremel and run the 75mm though which would be nice.

I could be wrong, but thats made in china. If it is, i'd stay away and buy better american parts. I think bbk is your only choice for bigger tb's for sn95 cars.

Stay away from Professional Products. As Mike said, they are made in China. That should say enough. If not, I've heard of the throttle plates getting stuck. Wouldn't that suck to have the throttle stuck open on the dyno with a blower? What happens if the car started detonating while the plate was stuck open.

On a combo like yours, I think i'd port the inlet and run the 75mm. Might not make a huge difference over the 70mm, but I think with the blower, it will be benificial. Dont believe the internet myths on bigger tb's hurting you!!

I run a FMS 65mm on mine and it does fine. Look at the size of the Vortech discharge tube that runs between the blower and TB.

Oh, and my combo was stock heads and cam with a cobra intake and S-trim and dyno'd 410rwhp/430rwtq letting off at 5200rpm. I have ported gt40's, ported intake, and 2031 cam now, and still the 65 FMS TB. I wouldn't mind going to a 70mm, but I hate BBK's TB's and can't find a FMS that size

Theyre NOT Myths...I read several articles in 5.0 and MMFF dating back to '98 that demonstrates this.

I knew if its a tb question u'll be there with a 75mm answer. I did eventually go witha 70 though bbk so dont kill me for not going 75 aight. But u should change ur name to throttle body guy or 75 mm. lol
