so i've had my stock 4cat h-pipe kicking around my garage for the past couple years. i used to use it for emissions, but i have no need for it anymore.

should i bring it to a scrap metal place and get money for it?

or should i list it online/locally? (pain to ship)

dunno what these things are worth anymore

edit: another option would be to bring it to the dump

You can probably get a C-note for it from a scrap dealer. Cats are worth $$$.

yeah I got $50 for my old broken one's. Don't just give them away. Don't take less than 50 either. I'd try to sell it first on craigslist or something.

I agree...don't just throw away or give for free. Some ppl actually like to still use cats. You never know who will buy your stuff. Obviously CL is the way to go for easy local pick up

It's prolly a pre-cat which are worth around $20 in this area. It might be a regular tho, which are 60-70 a peice.

I just noticed you said it's a 4-cat pipe. I saw "4cat" and thought I read "4cyl" Those are pre converters and are worth $20 each. So around $80 on average total.
