What ya do, how long, how many hours??

Certified Harley-Davidson Technician. Been there 4 years, and it's the only place I've ever worked. I work 35-55 hours a week depending on the season and how much I feel like working. I've been thinking about finding something better paying, but I absolutely love the work, I get paid to ride bikes every day, and I have what I feel are the best coworkers and bosses I could ask for.

Automotive Tech/Mechanic
Alighnment Specialist.-hate them somtimes.
Good Year, also worked for Ford and Subaru
1yr Good Year, 4 years at other shops/dealerships
40-50 hours week

And yes I hate GM cars also...
And I cant leave out imports and german junk cars. :nonono:

But everyday I learn somthing new :nice:

I'll take a spin at this, as I have not started an actual career, yet.

19 hours this semester (like the last one:rolleyes:) at the University of Central Arkansas, graduating next year with a Bachelor's in Business Management.

This summer I have gotten hired on for an internship at Target Stores. I am very excited, as I worked at a grocery store for nearly 5 years. I love retail. I just got to get a job as an ETL, then store manager (big $):)

us postal service here...for 12 years, did 12 years in the navy too, this job lets me use the 12 years for retirement. i work as much as they will let me, but i prob avg 45 hours a week an up to 56 in the summer. i like it except for working most saturdays.

saturday??what's that! that is the best part of my job is having weekends off and my massive holiday calendar. I had three paid weeks off this last christmas.

i am fabricator/welder in a fab shop that produces fabricated aluminum valve covers and oil pans for racing applications, mostly roundy round dudes (late models and modifieds) and some drag race stuff but its not as common.

i work 40 hours a week!

Currently get 3wks vacation/year, 2wks sick/year, 32hrs personal/year. Good retirement, etc.

Everyones adding their perks, so I'll throw mine in.

Salary, 3 weeks paid vacation, unlimited sick days, staff RRSP's in lieu of a pension plan, full benefits and free staff banking.

Looking to add a mobile automotive detail business on the side, and once my back gets fixed, perhaps teach martial arts, or do some self defence programs.

haha well not all the time, Just some vehicles bug me when I have to make certain adjustments and I got stuck bolts and the PB Blaster just aint working.

I hate pulling out the torch and heating stuff up, Im just afraid that car will come back and haunt me with loss of steering, broken part or worse lol

Some cars with camber/caster adjusments front and rear are a pain, and I dont even want to install shims if its a solid axle, talk about a headache. But I guess with every car it comes with headachs once in a while.

But when its a stang that rolls into the shop Im happy if I have to alighn it :D
But unlike Subaru where there is only 4/5 differnt modles, I see them all, but its good to get used to them all because it just makes me better. :nice:
