Roger that. She's not the messiah to women in racing that the media tries desperately to make her out to be.

No, not yet, and still running the stock intake tubing/box. I'm in construction and waiting to see if we land some larger jobs (job security) before I spend any money on vehicles. Same reason I've not done 4.56's in the Fox yet.

Wow, you guys all seem to be living in the Stone age. The reason most females don't care for the fox body is due to it's boxy shape. It's just not sexy looking.

Now I am fully aware of the deep throated growl they unleash when properly maintained and driven. But to the uninitiated, this is all Greek.

As far as not being interested in a woman that's into cars, well, that's y'all's loss, and I'm sure has a bit to do with your own insecurities and the fear that she'll build a better motor than you can.

Maybe it's y'all that they're not interested in, and has nothing to do with the car?

Just some food for thought....

PS You might consider that this community and the forums within it are for everyone, and not the best place to show off your ability to spout neanderthal era nonsense while beating your hairless chests...

I think you have us confused with bookface or twitch. This is a car enthusiast site. It's not for everyone. It's for people who are enthusiastic about Mustangs or those looking for assistance on Mustangs or those that just like to BS about Mustangs.

...and the hairlessness of my chest is none of your concern

I didn’t even look to see how old this thread was when I started reading it, lol.

Great new comment though, I almost want to support Bernie after reading it.

As i type this, I am home with sick kid while doing dishes, and laundry while my non-car loving, master's degree holding wife is at work

My previous comment where I said I really wasn't into women who wrenched on cars.

Edited my post for clarity

I gotcha now, and I get the original point too.

Side note, there's a lot of people in this thread that are no longer active. Makes me kinda bummed but I guess interests change.

My wife was not particularly impressed with the fox body until she drove it. Now she thinks it’s pretty cool.

Not sure if "I AM WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR!" or "m'lady" white knight.

For what it's worth, my wife loves the shag carpet that is my chest.
