i have 1 wheel stud spinning inside the hub. i replaced the stud and it started to torque, then spun for roughly 1 full rotation. now it has stripped the stud out again.
what are my options here for quick solution? new stud again + weld it to the hub? im done with the car, but im not gonna leave it halfassed for the next guy. i think a weld is a safe bet, is there any other options?
i am lucky not to have had serious front end issues sooner. the front lug nuts were nearly stripped out when they were torqued on. there is a 3/16" spacer and the shorty lugs. 3 of the first 4 threads are GONE off it. so stripped out that i could not even get it to grab going back on
so i guess i should be happy i didnt eat it at 70 when they all gave out.
