Where/how much $$ to powdercoat wheels?

Hey guys just wondering if you know of any places that powdercoat wheels and how much does it usually run. I want to powdercoat my wheels Black. Any information is appreciated.

Mine cost $600.00 for 4 wheels, but 1/3 of that was stripping the factory powder coating off first. Also mine are a 3 stage powder coat - matallic gold base, candy apple gold over that and clear on top. To just get black should be about $75.00 - $100.00 per wheel.

I paid $100 per wheel for black pc shot with clear.

$200 for all four wheels. Included stripping, prepping, p/c, and clear coating. hes a local guy, i know. he also did this

I charge $425.00 to do 4 wheels,, it does not matter what color. Most of the cost comes in stripping and prep of the wheels prior to coating. I am in Colorado, so It probably would not be economical for you to use my services. www.pristinepc.com . . Lee

the big varible in cost with powder coating is the material you pick. mulit stages cost more than a sigle stage wich is pretty obvious. if it is not standard they have to clean their stuff out to run the new color. also if doing a custom color the more stuff you do at the same time the cheaper stuff gets. basically you get hit with kind of a minimum charge if you have to buy a custom color.

so If I were doing it I would look for some other things to do at the same time. you may be able to ad some items in for free basically.
