I was thinking t-56 just because I like the thought of a six speed:shrug:

fiveohwblow yes a 6 spd would be cool! but the weight of it! well speaking of it the guy i know has a all rebuilt t-56 for sale also it's all brand new inside (i would imagine) cause he says a fresh rebuild. he's a factory tremac rep and has rebuilt my TKO and my old t-5 that was built the same as a astro equipt t-5. he's been rebuilding t-5's and tremacs for over 15 years and knows his stuff! he's built several tremacs and t-5's for road race guys as well! i HIGHLY RECOMEND him! he's local and if ya need his number i can PM it to you. He wants under $2000 for it. Also i looked at thhose headlights i have and there still free if you want them but the driverside is yellow like yours but the rest of them are good. peace

i was thinking the same thing. gonna try to get roger to go but he will have to leave kinda early he works tomorrow :rlaugh: isnt the government wounderful! Portland Raceway - Official Home Page - PIR Drags Site think they shortened there hours? the times this year are 6-11. last year it was 6-12 and a few years ago it was 5PM-1AM. peace

That blows. Many nights I've only got 4-5 runs in between 7:00 and 11:00, and then get 5-6 more in between 11:00 and 11:45 (when they tend to start blocking off the access, even if there are no cars in line) because all the little boys go home.

It's not going to be nearly as much fun if the higher price point brings in half as many runs.

i'm down for next friday and saturday! gonna need to be home by 10ish friday cause i'm going to HP ranch saturday for the dyno. then i'll go meet up and hit the track saturday night when i get back also!the track is closed tomorrow 3-14. if you guys here wanna keep this going and post in here for what nights ya wanna meet up threwout the summer thatd be cool so everyone knows? :shrug:peace

I dont know what the exact price is to run? but there web site says $20 and i think thats $5 less then last year? also i dont know (cause it dosent say on the site) if you have to pay a one time $10 charge for a number for the year? BUT i did see that general admission is only $8 last year it was $10. so maybe from the shorter hours this year they knocked off a few bucks? :shrug:peace

That's lame, late night is the best time to go to the drags! Let me guess... it's probably the whiny neighbors that we have to thank for that. If you don't like the noise maybe don't live next to a race track? Anyway I live a couple miles away from PIR and I can just barely hear the champ cars sometimes but it doesn't bother me in the least. :D

Maybe this year I'll finally bring my heap out and see what she'll do now that I think I can finally make it down the track in one piece... :rlaugh:
