Funny you should ask Nick, I was just wondering the same thing.
Our jobber had to order some extra toners to mix my color, some are considered ‘limited use’ so they don’t have enough in the store. Should be this week though.
This morning I had some extra time so I sanded down the jamb side of the fender and have been blocking the outside with 800.
As soon as I get it I’ll post a picture of the color in the can and shortly after I should have the panel shot.
Then comes the dash through the parts again to paint.

I dig that New green. I also dig the wrong green lolSooooooo, got the color!

I’m doing something. Look, no antenna hole! This is one coat, it’ll get a little richer as I put more on.

could look cool with an army jeep star on the doors.....im sure that color on the jeep was supposed to remind you of the ww2-era jeeps
That is going to look amazing. It's kind of retro in a '70s show car kind of way, which I think will compliment the early 4-eye body style perfectly.

I dig it, I like how your painting the inside of the panel too! Not everybody does that. Keep the pictures coming Dave.Ok, beginning, first color and final color.
I just put one coat of clear in there Blake. We've both seen rust start from the backside of a panel.
Tomorrow I'll sand down the new clear to make it flat and put one more coat of clear on it. I'll show a picture after that, you'll see why i'm doing it.
I might bring the hood down next. Maybe the front bumper. Truthfully whatever panel is easiest to grab.

The quality is obvious, but blue is my favorite color and while Kona isn't my favorite I REALLY liked how it looked. I also understand it's your car and you need to be happy with it, so as long as it makes you smile it makes me smile. That said, the "wrong" color doesn't really bother me.
