Low speed clacking is pissing me off!

Jacked em up to have a look.
The brake shoe is slapping around in caliper.
The more it wears, the more loose it becomes from tapered stamping design.

Video extension is pissing me off too and quit looking at my rust damnit!

I held a iron bar against one side and tapped The opposing tabs tighter top and bottom.

Regarding noises from the front brakes: if you still have problems, you can "glue" the pads with a little silicon RTV to the caliper. I often saw this as a tip for granada brakes, which are the same design than our mustang brakes.

This sounds like good advice, but not as much fun as hitting it with a hammer.
