Getting her turned around for this weekend. Valve lash is still perfect! Compression is a low of 160 and high of 180 cold. Few sets of plugs gapped and ready to go.

But I gotta say the price of NGK plugs has gotten a tad out of hand. I remember when they were $1.59 a plug.

Well got he all buttoned back up last night and tested the electric shifter again. Well something was wrong when trying to go on the transbrake. Well... this is a new one on race gas

Thats a damn good question... never seen an issue with race gas. It's buts almost like it's got ethanol in it

Looks like what happens when you get 'bottom of the tank' gas from a fuel station.

Welp... the bad fuel bit me again. Cleaned the nitrous plate spray bars yesterday before loading it up. Well something freed itself somewhere else in the system and clogged the bar again. So I got a dead hole... motor will be out here soon

If you look on the driver side, you can see number 5 ting the bed.

But that pass was 1.19 5.30@130. We had more power out up front than we thought. But it is what it is. Motor will be out this weekend to see how bad it is

Damnit man. That’s gonna take a bite out of the wallet. You ever tried coated pistons? Buddy of mine runs two fogged stages on a 434 inch motor and I believe he runs Diamond pistons that are coated. Seems to help but when you miss the setup or some bull parts fails all kinds of hell can break loose.

Yea we ran them in the turbo car... they are nice but when things go wrong the same happens
