I would fix the slat.
Two pieces of wood, cut to fit and a couple clamps. Drink until you are well pickled.

I’m just here to learn from an ole school body guy @General karthiefThose look great man! I agree with taking the bend out. Maybe drop @95steedamustang a line and see what he would propose to remove or minimize the slight bend.
Buddy had an 84 with the louvers and I have always thought the older Foxes look spot on with them.
.
Put a racey decal on them and you’re good for an additional 5 HP!Wonder what the HP difference between painting or polishing the louvers/slats, they're good for about 5HP painted IIRC![]()
My car shoulda been making 1000 hp back in high school. (I liked my stickers).Put a racey decal on them and you’re good for an additional 5 HP!![]()

So “dual” exhaust is 800?It's still the same in HS. Aftermarket Exhaust is an automatic 400 HP.

Got a couple cans of SEM trim black. What did you decide for a finish?
but it's the bottom so not really a high vision area and it can't look too good, I could have done better but again, it's the Junk Pyle. From me?So you are saying this is the quality of work we should expect?

Thanks, slowly but moving forward, between the lawn and the tug boat eating up the Pyle budget, damn thing needs an alternator, battery and I suspect a fuel pump, piddly crap. Oh, forgot a brake booster, the boat has a bad vacuum leak. And a oil change and, and, and....Coming g along nicely.
