15X11 question

hey guys normally i am posting in the 4.6 section but i have a friend in need of some help..

he has a 91 fox body and hes planning on running a 15x11" rear wheel with 3 3/4" backspacing...what size tire can he run?

also does anyone know the measurement of the rear end from drum to drum?

Why not run a 15 by 10 with a 6.5 inch backspaing with a 275/50/15 tire?
