1988, MAP vs MAF

What is advantage of system MAP vs MAF, for example MAF to restrict air flow or fail the sensor, and MAP no affect flow, but less precise.
Is convenient the conversion Mass Air????

Not quite sure what you mean by restrict air flow, but most MAF sensors are larger than the throttle body, and actually will flow more air, if you're talking aftermarket sensors. The conversion is definitely worth it if you plan on having much more than a stock engine. Do a search, it's been covered in depth several dozen times.

Speed Density systems are pretty good; in fact most of the aftermarket stand alone EFI systems are SD. The problem with the factory SD systems is that they can only adapt to a limited range of engine modifications.
The factory MAF system accepts engine modifications better, which is why it is so often used.

Converting to MAF will allow you greater flexibility in upgrading your motor, but it is not required.

It just depends on what your goals are.
