Hard decision, but if I were in your shoes and someone offered me a retarded amount of cash for my car... Not sure I could pass it up.

Thanks! The strut tower brace wasn't necessarily difficult to install, just a PITA. The worst part was moving/bending some of the brakelines out of the way that run along the pinch weld in the firewall. As long as you have a sharp drill bit and some patience you'll be fine...

SEM prep spray, SEM adhesion promoter, SEM landau black color coat... read some of the posts in the thread to see how i went about doing it

Yeah, this is a tough decision. I love this car to death, but my heart has always been with old school muscle cars. Maybe this is my chance to get back into something like that. When I say retarded I mean it's waaay more than I thought I'd ever be able to get for the car in this economy.

Make it $10 and that dart block you have sitting in your garage and you've got yourself a deal

well that dart block is now a 347 shortblock with a probe 347 dominator stroker kit, billet flywheel and other goodies on it, so my offer of $5 stands

honestly. if he has that much money to throw around id be like 12k in cash and its yours. i mean if the car has setimental value to you or what not then dont. but thats alot of money. of course not know how much you have into it but either way 12k for a coupe it good!

I think that kind of money would have me shaking hands (the $12K). Honestly, there are plenty of them out there, and this is a decision only you can make. That is good money for a fox... real good money!

I would talk to him, tell him 12K as is where is, write up a contract and see what happens. If he is willing to walk away from you, handing you 12K in cash... hard to pass up, very very hard!

I'm glad I decided to keep my car. Coming as close as I did to selling it made me realize how much I love it. Today I finished painting what was left of my interior (interior quarter trim panels), added black sun visors, and picked up a few parts...

-Paxton NOVI 2000 High Boost kit
-New Paxton 10 Rib supercharger drive belt
-Ford Racing 42 lb injectors
-C&L Calibration tube for 42 lbers
-Vortech 155 lph supplemental external in-line fuel pump to assist my 255 lph Walbro in-tank (what do you guys think about this?)
-AEM UEGO wideband kit w/Bosch O2 sensor
-Auto Meter (Sport Comp) Boost gauge
-Single 2 5/8" A-pillar pod for Boost gauge
-Single 2 1/16" A-Pillar pod for wideband
-Mark VIII electric fan
-DCC Fan Controller

I'm also ordering an AFM Power Pipe the next time I get paid... special thanks to 90lxcoupe for helping me find the supercharger kit!! More pics and updates coming soon!!

Haha, wow I guess no one on here cares unless you're smoothing your engine bay.

Anyway, here are the rest of the black interior parts painted. They're going back in tomorrow because it's raining here tonight.

I think you made the right decesion to keep the car. Your interior parts look like they came out nice. I think I'm going to have to paint mine as well, they are looking a little worn.

Thanks Terry! I'm glad I kept the car as well. I'm sure you've used SEM products before, they impress me more every time I use them. My interior now looks like brand new OEM black.

Haha, I definitely would have. The guy just came out of nowhere with a ridiculous offer that he had no intention of ever actually making good on. The number he threw at me had me seeing images of a sonic blue 03 cobra in my driveway . Well, at least a big down payment on one, anyway.

LOL... I hear that. Call me crazy, but as nice as 03 Cobra's are, I would rather have a blown Notch sitting in my driveway over a cookie cutter terminator...
