Don't even bother getting a new fuel pump. I was running the trick flow top end with the stock fuel pump and had zero fuel issues.

Well I'm running a combo that'll put out less power than the TFS top end kit and I had fuel issues.

Popping out of the exhaust and header tubes reaching temps of 450 degrees after 5 minutes of idling. Stepped up to a 190 and had no more popping and header tube temp went down to 373 degrees after 5 minutes of idling.

Could've just been a bad pump or something. I promise you the factory pump can handle it. I know plenty of people who had 300+ rwhp (including myself) and ran the stock pump and 24# injectors.

Just a little tip for the OP. put a new fill tube seal on the tank if you do a fuel pump.. It's prob old and krusty and will have a good chance of tearing upon reinstall.. Make sure to lube it up before you slide the tube back in also. The seal can be changed without dropping the tank, I've done it. But easier when the tank is already dropped.
