get 3.73s. it is a good compromise. i have 4.10s in my 96, and like you, i do not like the rpms so high on the highway, but i can cruise around town at 1500 because it doesn't bog nearly as much. pick your poison ...

why didnt you just tune the beast?

my current mods are undersize pullies,smog pump eliminated,longtube bbk,h pipe,flowmaster thundersand a ram airsystem with 8 inch scoop and zip tube,manual fan switch,180 thermo. r wheels and 245 45 17 good year z.s really,whatt should i do next..I do smell gas from time to time ? could be loosing horsepower? it is one of the 5000 94 cobras made..i love the ride ,affraid to put on springs and loose it but I see why springs are necessary,the cars don't feel that stable at higher speeds around turns..my z 28 is not as stiff but sits lower on the highway and feels more secure because of it.
 
If you smell raw fuel you might be leaking some at the point where the filler tube meets the fuel tank. A lot of people have had that problem on the boards lately, including me. I'm gonna replace the gasket this weekend so hopefully it will be good for another 10 years.
 
ya tune the beast,so i took it in today .one of my 02 sensors is not reading,how much horsepower have I been loosing on aacount of that?..that a long with that purge chamber leakin fumes.?
