I know I will not beat him top end because my car is not built for that. I told him that he might beat me by a car from a roll but out of the hole I think he would be I was just wondering how would I fair against him. My current mods are 3.73's, full exhaust, and the little K&N air filter and timing is on 14 degrees. What do you guys think?

911 Carrera? Haha. Good luck dude You'll be lucky to get him off the line, but that car will own you big time.

I wouldn't take it to heart though, its a 911. Wish i had a 911...

Is it a Carrera4 or Carrera2? If it's the four it has AWD and should pull on you from start to finish.

if you ever thought about stashing a 150 shot underneath the passenger seat, now's the time.

You might have a chance if you take out your,
seats, carpet, console, spare tire, stereo, and everything in the interior.
And you will need to remove your a/c, power steering, and air pump. Then remove your side and rear windows, your spoiler and gound effects and anything not welded to the car, then mount some slicks and maybe you can beat him. Just my $.02

It's a 94 and it's not AWD so I'm guessin the Carerra 2. If I'm not close to beating him than what more would I need to show him some American muscle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the H/C/I and you will have a better shot. All depends on how deep your pockets are, if you can dig deeper then get a blower.

you'll get smoked from start to finish. i have your same mods except i run 4.10 gears. i raced my boss several times last weekend. we went at it from a stop on the streets (0-90), from a roll on the freeway (60-120), and i got killed every time. i could hang with him from 0-30 and that was it!

dont even bother. you're wasting your time. hook up a 100 shot or dont bother racing him at all.

I have done a little research and they are only low 14 second to high 13 second cars. How will he just murder me? I figure with a few bolt ons here and there, I should be right with him in the 1/4. Now top end I know I don't stand a chance, but in the quarter it should be pretty close right?

Silver,
Actually you are right. You won't get totally owned. The porsche that I lost to was a 2002 which has 320 horsepower and you are racing a 1994 model with 70 less horses. the 1994 models weigh 1450kg (3197 lbs), so his weight advantage will help.

2002 Carrera Cabriolet
Standard Engine 3.6L
Horsepower 320 @ 6800 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 273 @ 4250 RPM

1994 Carrera 2
Standard Engine 3.6L
Horsepower 247
Torque (lb-ft) 228

hopefully you will video tape the actual race. post the vid so that we can see how many car lengths he beat you by. do a 0-60mph, 0-140, and a 1/4 mile race so that everyone can see what happens when a stock 95 w/ gears tries to race a '94 911.
