?? about pintle cap on injector

I got a set of 24# injectors from a guy. He gave me the set becuase he did not need them. One problem was the cap is cracked on two of them. Can I just take the caps off my 19#ers and put them on the 24's or do I need to buy different ones. If I have to buy new ones,where do I get them.

The new ones are fuel injector o-ring kit comes w\ 2 o-rings plastic washer and cap.When I did my upper and lower I redid the injectors.each kit was 2.95 in CA.I cracked the last injector cap went all the way to the store picked up another that b a s terd broke too.they look the same size.

lol if you can get the cap off and back on the injetor without breaking it, I think it would work. Those are a total PITA to do. You might consider replacing the o-rings just to be safe on all of them, but pull them off and put them on over the caps...at least that's what I did. I broke too many of the new caps and pretty much didn't have a choice lol. You can get the kits at O'Reilly, PepBoys, I think maybe NAPA...anywhere that carries the Borg Warner brand...

yeah the pintle caps are really hard, and you might pull back the little metal hat on the end of the injector, mine had all cracked or melted off, made it really easy.... just be careful
