I havent driven my Mustang in about 2 months because a bearing went bad on my S Trim and I dont have the funds to fix it right now. Anyway car is tuned with the PMS by the guys at Anderson, and as the car sits, the blower is on the car but the belt is off! I kept it like this so I could start it and move it around if need be. Anyway it doesnt seem like the car likes it to well as it spit and sputters at times and spits some black smoke every now and then. I need to get the car from Akron, OH to Ashland, OH about 52 miles for a good winter home! If i have to ill get a trailer and tow it, but id like to drive if I can but i dont want to damage anything! Would you guys risk it or trailer it?

Leave the blower belt off. Dismantle your inducltion system and put your mass air meter in-line with your intake. Cap it a cheapo conical air filter and press on.

50# injectors with no boost..... dont drive it.

LOL... if it'll drive with the supercharger hooked up then it'll drive without it. If the car has already been tuned to run with 50 lb injectors then it doesn't need boost to make them operate. It's a centrifugal... most street driving is without boost anyway.

The only problem with trying to run with no belt and everything else hooked up is that the engine will be trying to suck air past the blower impeller. Either bypass or remove the blower and provide some way to filter air into the inlet and it will drive just like it always did only without boost. The air meter is still going to meter the air and provide the EEC the necessary info to supply the needed gas.
