Nice Job!! car looks great. Did you swap the t5 in place of an auto or was it already a manual? I'm looking to swap a T56 or TKO 600 in place of my auto, a few companies have these kits available, any suggestions? Keep us posted with some more pics

she was originally a c4 auto. At first i was going to do the swap to an AOD just for the extra gear, but then i started thinking about what im going to do with the car, how nice it would be to have two extra gears and just a manual trans is so much cooler than an auto...so i went with the 5spd. the swap was very simple, not a biggie at all. i would have liked to go with a richmond or beafier trans but the cash flow was taken up in other mods.
i suggest doing a kit if you can, i did the kit from modern driveline, i paid a little more than searching around and buying stuff, but it was alot easier to to call them up and have them send what i needed. the only thing i got seperate was the clutch pedal(ebay)

Safety

First off, the car looks great! Nice Job!

My only suggestion to you is do some work on the breaking system. Get rid of the “Jelly Jar” Master cylinder and at least upgrade to the dual reservoir master cylinder for safety sake.

Gotta be able to reign in all those newly found ponies!

Cheers,

Rufus

i sanded the entire compartment, not down to the metal but till it was smooth, ground out some of the ridges, points, etc. then primed it with grey, then sprayed it black. Its a Semi-Flat black made my Krylon.worked well. went on good and doesnt attract greesy hand prints
