Didnt MM&FF swap a 5.4 into a Mustang?? Who has specs/hp rating?

Hey im interested in a engine swap since my 5.0 is getting kinda tired. Since pushrods are already 10 years old I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to get a newer 5.4 to swap in. I know MM&FF of 5.0 mustang did this but I cant find the article. What would I need and what heads/cams would be a good upgrade from the stock 5.4 lets say out of a van. Or should I just rebuild the 5.0?

I look for 5.4's alot I and I have seen tired longblocks on ebay for $800 before, I don't know what else you would need other than a shorter intake. everything is supposed to match right up. With out headwork and some other things you wouldn't make much more hp than a 4.6.

from what i remember form the article...the motor is about .8 inches wider and taller than before. you need to extend the exhaust pipes to meet the added height from the motor. you need to create room for the higher plenum linkages. you need the adapter plates to put a 4.6 manifold ont he 5.4 head deck (the 5.4's manifold is damn huge and designed for low end power, not high end). other than that its pretty much the same thing. they said they had difficulty getting it back into the car though due to AC lines and other stuff from the larger size.
