Do any of you guys know of a site that lists Dragstrips along with if they are 1/8's or 1/4's?
Im trying to find if there is anything close to me in NC or not. Closest I know of is Rockingham or Charlotte as far as 1/4.
Sorry if this doesnt belong in tech, but I figured with as many guys drag around here, I would get more info than in talk.

I thought Charlotte did?
I know there is an 1/8 back home around Greensboro heading towards Burlington called Piedmont. I went to a Mustang show/race when I first got my 5.0 is '98. Im willing to make a drive to Rockingham or wherever need be, but if Im going for a long drive, Id like some Mustang company, or at least know Im going to be in good company once I get there :D.
Any of you guys want to take a trip someday :nice:

When it gets warmer this spring, PM me. I will go to Darlington, Rockingham ,and Commerce GA. I will save the info and contact you. If you have never been to a Fun Ford weekend. Try out Commerce this spring. There will be a lot of people there. Find a class or just run true street. It is all in good fun. The Motel parking lots after the races are great. :nice:

I try looking in the MM&FF mags for upcoming FFW events, but I never notice anything around my way until they do a review :bang:
Im definately game for hitting the track, and seeing what I can do. Is there a class I can be somewhat competative in with my mods listed, or will I have to enter True Street with like 50 other cars and get blown out by a 9 second car in the first or second round :D. Id love to do the cruise, 50-60 Mustangs in a line on the road :nice: .
By late March or early April I should have my L/T's and mid pipe on along with a good tune. Are the gears going to force me into True Street with the big boys, or will I be able to stay in a class of 12-13 second cars?

look here and find a class. True street gives out prizes for fastest overall, fastest 10sec, 11 sec, 12sec, 13sec, 14 sec and 15sec. It is a best average of three runs. They also have a bracket race. that means a 17 sec car can beat a 9 sec car if you are a consistant driver. If you are all bolt on, you may want to look at Street Stang. I will be running in this class this year. I will be at 4 or 5 events with family members running in other classes anyways. :D
