Well i haven't been on here in a while...... been really busy with the car, among many others....
I finally installed my edelbrock performer intake, 24# injectors, maf, pressure regulator, 70mm BBk throttle body, plugs, wires, msd coil, and other small stuff........
i have a few problems however:
When you drive it hard like racing, between gear swaps when you powershift it or just shift at real high rpm, i get a backfire, (never had this problem before........
I also am leaking oil from the back of the intake, where the intake mates to the block, i used a generous amount of silicone, still got a leak....lol This means i have to pull it again i know, but that should fix it right, suck that i wasted a set of 20$ 1250's though.
I can't seem to get my TPS sensor tight enough where it doesn move, i verified that it is moving after throttle is opened, by putting a volt meter on it..........Is this the Throttle body or more likely to be the sensor ???? COULD THIS BE THE CAUSE OF THE BACKFIRE........ GAINING AND LOSING VOLTAGE?
Also wondering what kind of fuel pressure everyone runs with the 24# injectors...........
