It has been awhile since ive updated the thread, not much progress since the last update still trying to figure out this mysterious fluid leak. I originally thought it was power steering fluid, but after seeing the puddle it looked dark but i dont know where it could be coming from and the power steering lines looked pretty soaked but I plan to degrease the engine and have a look after driving it for a bit. The puddles left from it are under the control arm on the driver side like right in that area so hopefully you guys can give me some information

Are you sure it's power steering fluid?

I've had a timing chain cover gasket leak before and the fan splattered oil on my power steering hoses. Took me a few to figure it out.

well @Davedacarpainter im not sure actually but it does have an electric fan and its not up on or around that. it only leaks after its ran but sitting it doesnt leak anymore while it sits without running so im kinda thinking if its oil it may be the filter leaking since its on that side of the motor

then again it may be power steering but, all I know its on the left side of the car at least lol
