Friend with Vortech, Question about setup.

One of my friends just got a used Vortech. He had to cap off the Tube from the valve cover riser to the TB. Shouldn't he route a hose from the riser on valve cover to some where just after the mass air meter for fresh air intake into crankcase? Anyone else with a Vortech setup , whats instructions for the riser on the valve cove, is there supposed to be some plumbing from it ?

Vortech supplies an airbox with their kit. The hose from the nipple on valve cover is supposed to be routed to the air box. But it is actually before the maf. Some people plumb the tube into the inlet side of blower (after the maf). Others run an open breather on oil fill neck and dont use the tube.
