I've been looking at superchargers for the past few months and i've finally decided on an s-trim. What will i need to add or change to my combo?

114k stock bottom end
ported e7's
ported cobra intake
stock cam
75 mm MAF
24 lb injectors
65mm TB
UD pullies
longtubes, h, and flows
255 lph fuel pump
AODE with shift kit and tranny cooler
4.10 gears

I'm thinking i'll definately need to change gears, but has anyone ever ran 4.10's with a blower? This is my daily driver and is probably gonna only see the track about 2 times a year. Any input is appreciated.

I might get a S-1 as well, but I think 4.10's on a car that has boost will be bad.

I heard some people say that 3:55 are the best gear setup for cars that have boost, and 3:73 are the max.

I would say Auto or Manual makes a difference. Take it one step higher with an Auto. Also the year stanger you got makes a difference as well. Honest I don't know what is good for blower but 3:73 to 4:10 would be my guess. Wouldn't a higher gear get your RPM's higher faster where you are making more boost?

kid in Upper Sandusky has a fox with stock motor (stock from pan to throttle body) running an old school SN93 Paxton and runnin 12.0's with 4:10's... All depends on how high you want ot rev the engine at the end.. try the 4:10's if you already have them in there and see what your RPM is at the end of the 1/4.

Aren't there different pulley sizes? Your fuel setup will make a difference based on the amount of boost you want to use.

BTW - you'll probably run out of gear. I come damn close on the juice but I push my motor pretty hard. Don't really care if it goes I guess. :D

It really depends on the size of tire you run. :nice:
