thxs guys! no im still talking to a few builders to put it together for me. i was originally going with a 347 sb, but some things happened and just didnt work out. i could have stayed with it and just went with a shorter rod, but in the end i got a 331 kit. motor is mos def going to see a blower or turbo. i want to go turbo just dont want all the problems i read about. so right now its in the air.

so for now im just going to drive it and upgrade all the things i think are going to break. taking it slow and trying to plan ahead. my 1st build so im trying not to get too excited, but its hard not to.

i asked Jay to throw in a set of lifters. these are the ones he recommended. why do you ask? a lot of this is new to me so let me know.

btw what oil pump did you go with? i was going to get a melling, but got spooked with some threads i saw on corral.
