Not bad for a low comp 302. I just got it running after the driveshaft accident. New 4.11 and 3500 stall, the car seems to like it all much better. The best times were 7.78 1/8 at sunshine during cold air. The very next day I took it to a 1/4 mile track and could barely muster a 7.9. The 1/4 I have to run during the day in the blazing humidity. 1/4 was 12.43 though.
This past Sat was very encouraging. I ran a best of 7.70 and a 12.205 in the same heat. Hope when the exhuast goes back on it picks up some more time. ( The driveshaft took out all but the headers) I still did have a 1.69 60 ft. I woulda squeezed, but I wanted to be able to stay to bracket race that night. I don't have a cage yet and they were cracking down hard. I did squeeze on wed. at the 60 ft mark at the 1/8 and ended up with a 7.38 at 93.55. I have to move the instant center forward a little more and I'll try from the line.
Sorry for the rant guys, thanx for listening. It's just an awesome feeling to go to the track AND run good AND not break.
And it was on pump gas RICH DAAAAA!!! :p

302 .40 over, AFR 185 heads, rpm airgap intake,750 proform dp,c-4 3500 stall 9 inch w/moser 31 splines. homemade caltracs and 26x11.5 et streets. and an x-303 cam. That was with the 100 shot for the 7.3. I want a little more suspension tweeking and hit the bottle from the line. Maybe hit low 1.6's or high 1.5's with the 100 shot. I want to get as close to 6's in the 1/8 with a little nitrous and work up the 175 pills a little later.

YOU BASTARD :rlaugh:

CONGRATS, don't make me get a 125 shot! :D my set up may like the bottle more since it's high compression!

why don't you put some race gas in and bump up the timing and use the bottle!

low compression = set up for turbo not the bottle. sell me you set up and get a turbo.... suuucker

check out my new sig :D
